Mother's Day

Mother’s Day was a nice day. I can’t believe I got my mother into cross stitching. She is a beautiful seamstress and loves to scrapbook. I was shopping with her one day and came upon a shop that had a small section of cross stitch. She saw one she really liked and I helped her get everything together. She finished it and mounted it herself! It looks great. She is almost finished with the "Pincushions" from Homespun Elegance On Mother’s Day, we looked at her next project and picked out the prettiest fabric for her "Tulip Sampler". Instead of a white fabric, she has chosen to use 32-count Belfast Cream from Zweigart. We think it will be a bit warmer, but not distract from the stitching. I hope I can convince her to put pictures of her progress on the website so we all can watch and cheer her along. I’m so proud of her!
